Primate Participates In "Mass For The Nation" Celebrating 250 Years Of The United States

On July 3, 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, accompanied by the Rev. Fr. Vazken Mosvesian, attended a special "Mass for the Nation" at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cathedral for the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

At the invitation of His Eminence Archbishop Jose Gomez, Primate of the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the Cathedral filled with prayers and hymns for the Nation. In his remarks the Archbishop emphasized Christ's command: "Love is still the only way forward for America."
