Recent Graduate Attends Course At Villanova University

On July 13-17, Dn. Arin Parsanian, a 2026 St. Nersess graduate, traveled to Villanova University Business Center for Church Management. He participated in its Certificate Program in Church Management for Men in Formation. The coursework covered the fundamentals of church management, addressing both finances and people, with current research, real-life case studies, group projects, and interactive class discussions.

“It was a great experience for me as I had the opportunity to learn and share my thoughts with my Catholic brothers,” shared Dn. Arin. During the program, he had the opportunity to read the Gospel and deliver the sermon during Mass.

Deacon Arin will be formally installed as the Pastoral Assistant of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church in Pasadena on Sunday, August 2. In preparation for this new ministry, Deacon Arin, accompanied by Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church, met with the Diocesan Primate earlier this week to discuss his pastoral responsibilities and the duties he will undertake in serving the parish community.
