St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church of Van Nuys is pleased to announce the launch of “Learn the Holy Badarak,” a six-session adult study series designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the Divine Liturgy of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Conducted in English, the series invites faithful parishioners and community members alike to embark upon a transformative spiritual journey into the heart of one of the Armenian Church’s most sacred and enduring traditions.

The study sessions will be held on alternating Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. on May 30; June 12 and 27; and July 10, at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church, located at 17231 Sherman Way in Van Nuys, California. Throughout the series, participants will explore the spiritual symbolism, theological meaning, and rich liturgical heritage of the Holy Badarak, while gaining a deeper appreciation for the prayers, rituals, and sacred mysteries that shape Armenian worship.
This educational initiative seeks to inspire both learning and spiritual renewal by helping attendees experience the Divine Liturgy with greater reverence and understanding. Participants are encouraged to come with questions and open hearts as they engage in meaningful discussions and reflections on the beauty and significance of the Armenian Church’s liturgical life.
For additional information, interested participants may contact the church office at (818) 344-4860 or email info@stpeterarm.org. Registration is encouraged through the church’s RSVP platform.
St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church warmly welcomes all who desire to enrich their faith, strengthen their connection to the Armenian Christian tradition, and uncover the profound meaning behind the mystery of the Holy Badarak.
