On the morning of May 16, 2026, the year-end picnic of the Saturday School of St. Paul Armenian Church in Fresno commenced at 10:00 a.m. with the recitation of the “Lord’s Prayer,” setting a reverent and uplifting tone for the day’s festivities. The joyful gathering brought together students, parents, teachers, grandparents, and numerous members of the community, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere deeply rooted in faith, family values, and Armenian heritage.
The occasion was further enriched by the presence of the parish pastor, Rev. Fr. Yessai Bedros whose pastoral words of encouragement and heartfelt blessing filled the gathering with renewed inspiration, underscoring the enduring importance of faith, love, and unity within the life of the Armenian community.

Throughout the day, the school grounds resonated with joyful music, Armenian songs and dances, engaging games, and a variety of festive programs accompanied by generous hospitality and delicious refreshments. The students participated enthusiastically in every activity, reflecting a beautiful spirit of camaraderie, teamwork, and youthful energy. The picnic also served as a meaningful opportunity to conclude the academic year by celebrating the accomplishments and growth of the students, while expressing sincere gratitude to all those whose dedication, hard work, and unwavering support contributed to the continued success of the school.
As the celebration drew to a close, attendees exchanged warm farewells amid an atmosphere of joy, fellowship, and heartfelt anticipation for the coming academic year. The smiles, cherished memories, and meaningful moments shared throughout the day will remain etched in the hearts of all who attended. Gatherings such as these strengthen the bonds of community, renew love for our homeland and heritage, and preserve the warmth and unity that have long characterized the Armenian spirit.
This beautiful and successful year-end celebration once again affirmed the unified mission of our school: to preserve Armenian values, nurture faith and cultural identity, and inspire future generations to remain steadfast in their love for their heritage, Church, and community.
