Dn. Arin Parsamian Appointed Pastor's Assistant At St. Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Church In Pasadena

By the directive of the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, upon completing his studies at St. Nersess Armenian Seminary this May, Deacon Arin Parsanian will begin serving as Pastor's Assistant at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church effective August 1.

His ministry will be carried out under the pastoral supervision and guidance of Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, the parish priest. Through active involvement in parish life and by ministering to the spiritual needs of the faithful in Rancho Cucamonga and neighboring smaller communities, Deacon Arin will help fostering closer ties between these communities and the parish of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church of Pasadena.

Deacon Arin Parsanian is authorized to deliver reflections and to administer Holy Communion within St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church of Pasadena, as well as in Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding smaller communities. He is also authorized to wear a cassock (clerical robe) and use the white clerical collar.
