On April 22, a commemorative event marking the Armenian Genocide was held at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. On this occasion, the parish pastor of St. Leon (Ghevontiants) Cathedral, the Reverend Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan accompanied the Diocesan Primate in the program.
The medical center takes part in April commemorations each year, underscoring the importance of remembrance, humanitarian values, and solidarity, while expressing its support for the Armenian community.
The event was conducted in an atmosphere of reverence and spiritual reflection, reaffirming the importance of preserving historical memory and upholding human values.
