Divine Liturgy And Blessing Of The Water Service In Mission Parish Of Porter Ranch And Granada Hills

On Sunday, January 4, 2026, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Gevork Abyan, pastor,  in the newly established parish of Porter Ranch and Granada Hills. At the conclusion of the service, the traditional and spiritually uplifting Blessing of the Water was performed.

This sacred ceremony held special significance for the community, as it marked the first Blessing of Water in the newly- established parish. A large number of Armenian faithful participated in the service with prayer and reverence, reliving the profound message of the day and receiving spiritual blessing.

During the service, the spiriutal hymns were peformed by the parish choir, creating a deeply moving and prayerful atmosphere.

At the conclusion of ceremonial service, the blessed water, symbolizing spiritual renewal and divine grace, was distributed to the faithful.
