During the past year, we have collectively experienced unprecedented challenges across our community, Armenia, and Artsakh. We hope the new year brings peace, prosperity, and spirited resiliency for the United States, Armenian Diaspora, Armenia, and Artsakh.
The Armenian American Museum Board will soon be announcing plans for the historic groundbreaking of the Armenian American Museum in Summer 2021 – a major milestone for our community that has been years in the making!
We are excited to unveil our refined museum building design featuring a two-level museum complex built on a one-level semi-subterranean parking garage. The iconic design will maintain the core programming and architectural vision of the museum while meeting the project’s budgetary goals. The first level will feature the grand lobby, auditorium, learning center, demonstration kitchen, gift shop, and administrative offices. The second level will be dedicated to the permanent and temporary exhibition galleries as well as the collections archives.
