  • Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Awarded YSU Gold Medal 10 March, 2025 - Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, the Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, has been awarded the Gold Medal of Yerevan State University (YSU) for his fruitful public activities, effective collaboration with the university, charitable contributions, significant support, and unwavering dedication.
  • Sunday of Expulsion 7 March, 2025 - The title “The Sunday of Expulsion” is based on the biblical narration of the exile of Adam and Eve from Paradise. After the creation of the world, God created man and give him all the goodness of the world to enjoy.

  • Pepperdine University's Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor Honored at a Reception 7 March, 2025 - On March 4, 2025, the Rev. Fr. Haroutioun Tachejian, Pastor of St. James Armenian Church of Los Angeles represented the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian at a reception honoring Pepperdine University’s Chancellor Sara Young and Senior Vice-Chancellor Hung Le.
