Belonging Beyond Borders: Dr. Hratch Tchilingirian Explores Armenian Diaspora Identity in Arizona Lecture 11 July, 2025 - On July 6, 2025, St. Apkar Armenian Church in Arizona hosted a thought-provoking lecture by Dr. Hratch Tchilingirian, University Professor and Director of Institutional Innovation at the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.
“In the Wake of Tragedy: Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America Mobilizes Relief for Texas Flood Victims” 10 July, 2025 - It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the tragic loss of life caused by the devastating floods that have struck multiple counties in Texas, claiming the lives of at least 100 people, including 36 innocent children in Kerr County, Texas.

Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Celebrant at the Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin 10 July, 2025 - On July 6, 2025, under the auspices of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Holy and Immortal Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Descent of the Only-Begotten, located at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The celebrant was His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.
