For centuries, in the absence of the Armenian Statehood, the Armenian Church became the stronghold for the preservation and enrichment of the unique character of the Armenian Culture. To continue the same tradition, “ZVARTNOTS” Cultural Committee was established in July of 2011, under the auspices of H.E. Abp. Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. The primary mission of this committee is “to preserve and promote the Armenian language, identity and heritage in the Diaspora, through cultural and educational programs”.
