The Junior Godfather Program is designed on the basic principle that Godfathers are guardians of the faith who are entrusted to protect our Christian faith that has guided our nation through the chapters of history. It is the goal of the Junior Godfather Program to provide an opportunity for all Armenian children and youth to bond with the church and to commit to become guardians of the faith of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. The improtance of Junior Godfathers is the chain that links them to the liturgical life of St. Leon Armenian Cathedral and the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church.
