This publication, which coincides with the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America (1927), is aimed at catering to and enriching the spiritual needs of the faithful. The Divine Liturgy, as  a  sacred  expression  of  redemption  through  Jesus  Christ,  is  holiest  and  most meaningful sacrament in the liturgical life of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The solemnity of the sacrament must be celebrated ardently, without omissions.

Ներկայ Պատարագի գիրքին հրատարակութիւնը, որ կը զուգադիպի Միացեալ Նահանգներու Արեւմտեան Թեմի պաշտօնական հաստատման 90ամեակին (1927), կ’իրագործենք Հայ հաւատացեալին կեանքը լիացնելու  եւ  «հոգեւոր»  պահանջը  բաւարարելու  նպատակով:  Սուրբ Պատարագը, իբր սրբազան արտայայտութիւն, Քրիստոսի Փրկագործութեան,  ամէնէն  Սուրբ  եւ  խորիմաստ  Խորհուրդն  է  Հայ  Եկեղեցւոյ պաշտամունքային կեանքին, որ պարտ ենք կատարել նախանձախնդ-րութեամբ եւ առանց քմահաճ կրճատումներու:
