On September 4, Rev. Fr. Nzhdeh Keshishyan, Spiritual Pastor of the Western Diocese, participated in the opening of the 2025-2026 academic year of St. Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School of Pasadena. Following the welcoming remarks by the school administration, a beautiful moment of prayer was offered, after which Rev. Fr. Nzhdeh was invited to deliver his words of blessing.
The priest first shared his sincere joy with those present for the opportunity to begin his day at Sahag-Mesrob School. He then reflected on the immense challenges facing the school, stressing that despite those challenges, the school continues to operate and today once again commences a new academic year. “Although at this moment the school building is burned down and no longer standing, the school itself is alive and functioning. A school is not merely a stone structure, but the great family through which all obstacles were overcome, and the school continued its mission,” stated Fr. Nzhdeh. Following his remarks, under the symbolic ringing of the bells, the students were invited to their first class.
Սբ․ Սահակ-Մեսրոպ ամենօրյա դպրոցի 2025-2026 ուսումնական տարվա բացումը
Սեպտեմբերի 4-ին Փասադենայի Սբ․ Սահակ-Մեսրոպ ամենօրյա դպրոցի 2025-2026 ուսումնական տարվա բացմանն իր մասնակցությունը բերեց Արևմտյան թեմի Հոգևոր Սպասավոր Արժ․ Տեր Նժդեհ Քահանա Քեշիշյանը։ Դպրոցի տնօրինության ողջույնի խոսքին հաջորդեց աղոթքի գեղեցիկ մի ակնթարթ, հավարտ որի՝ օրհնության խոսքի համար հրավիրվեց Արժ․ Տեր Նժդեհ Քահանա Քեշիշյանը։ Տեր Հայրը նախ իր անկեղծ ուրախությունը կիսեց ներկաների հետ՝ իր օրը Սահակ-Մեսրոպ դպրոցում սկսելու առիթով, ապա մասնավոր անդրադարձ կատարեց դպրոցի առջև ծառացած ահռելի մարտահրավերին՝ ընդգծելով, որ ի հեճուկս այդ մարտահրավերի ՝ դպրոցը շարունակում է գործել և այսօր էլ նոր ուսումնական տարի է ոտնախոխում։ << Թեև այս պահին դպրոցի շենքը այրված է և չկա, սակայն դպրոցը առկա է և գործում է։ Դպրոցը պարզ քարեղեն շենքը չէ միայն, այլ այն մեծ ընտանիքը, որի շնորհիվ հաղթահարվեցին բոլոր խնդիրները և դպրոցը շարունակեց գործել,- նշեց Տեր Նժդեհը։ Ապա խորհրդանշական զանգերի ներքո աշակերտները հրավիրեցին իրենց առաջին դասին։
