The Parish Priest and the Parish Council of the Holy Resurrection Armenian Apostolic Church are pleased to announce the successful acquisition of a one-acre plot of land adjacent to the Church’s existing property, purchased eight years ago. This milestone, approved by the Church’s Special Parish Assembly and the Diocesan Council, marks a pivotal moment in the growth and development of the Seattle Armenian community.
Made possible through God’s blessing and the unwavering commitment of parishioners and supporters, this long-awaited acquisition brings the community closer to realizing a cherished vision: the construction of a dedicated community hall. The future facility will serve as a hub for preserving Armenian heritage, fostering fellowship, and advancing Christian education for generations to come.
The Parish extends its profound gratitude to the Diocesan Primate His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian for his encouragement and blessing; to the Diocesan Council; to Deacon Levon Essibian, Deacon Harout Markarian, Garun Stepanyants, Yuri Hakobyan; and to all faithful contributors whose dedication and love made this achievement possible.
“This acquisition is not only a step toward building our community hall. It is a testament to our unity, faith, and commitment to glorifying God,” said Fr. Boyajyan. “We look forward to the day when these grounds will welcome all to worship, learn, and celebrate together.”
