God never abandons us nor leaves us alone. Like a child who runs away from the parents, we often do the same willingly or unwillingly - knowingly or unknowingly.

Prayer is the doorway to our spiritual life, which leads us to God. The very moment we begin to pray, the doorway is opened and the journey is set forth with God. This is the moment when we all feel protected by the Almighty. We ought not to try to explain this unique experience in words, for words can make no justice. The reality of God's presence cannot be measured in words. However, that can be read in the life of those who have been touched by the miracle of not being abandoned.
